We are currently reviewing our Emmys content in preparation for this year’s ones, so we are happily analyzing some looks that we found were worth of notice.
And what’s better than Kit Harington in a finely crafted suit? Clare Waight Keller (former Givenchy‘s creative director) definitely knew a thing or two about that.
For the Emmys 2019, Harington wore a Givenchy tuxedo, from the Fall 2019 Menswear collection, paired with Givenchy boots and an IWC Schaffhausen Da Vinci Automatic Moon Phase 36 watch that came with a black alligator leather strap.
I was so happy to finally find a detailed step-by-step explanation of a grooming session for a man, thanks to celebrity groomer Laila Hayani who told Emma Hardie Skincare her little secrets (which the brand of course shared on its Instagram): “I started by spritzing clean skin with Emma Hardie Plump & Glow Hydrating Facial Mist. After shaving, I massaged Emma Hardie Amazing Face Vitamin C Intense Daily Serum on Kit‘s face and neck and gently tapped Emma Hardie Midas Touch Revitalising Eye Serum around his eyes. The serums gave a rich, supple effect to the skin. They made the skin look pillowy before I applied the Moisture Boost Vitamin C Cream. To finish, an encore spritz of Plump & Glow Hydrating Facial Mist.”
Can we give this girl a standing ovation for even sharing precious details on Harington‘s hairstyling with Leonor Greyl?
Hayani went for a “classic, wavy curl” and she achieved it by doing this: “On damp hair, she misted Condition Naturelle to protect and treat hair. After using the Leonor Greyl natural boar-bristle brush to detangle, she cocktailed an even ratio of Eclat Naturel and Gel À L’Hibiscus to give curls texture and hold. ‘I sprayed Leonor Greyl Voluforme to set. We went wild with it because there’s no residue and it doesn’t look crispy—it just gives hair some sheen, volume, and nice hold.'” As a final touch, “Hayani brushed hands and cuticles with Huile Secret de Beauté to condition skin.”
Kit Harington was nominated in the category Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his role as Jon Snow in Game of Thrones (Episode: “The Iron Throne“). He also presented (together with the whole cast) the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie (won by Patricia Arquette).
