In the midst of it all, we chose to write about the premiere of a series that you may have missed: “White House Plumbers“. Let’s see what one of its stars, Kiernan Shipka, wore for the occasion last April.

Shipka was seen wearing an Oscar de la Renta sequined minidress with an ombré effect from the Fall 2022 Ready-to-Wear collection, paired with gold Jimmy Choo Minny ankle sandals.

She also carried with her a matching Oscar de la Renta Mini Flower Crystal shoulder bag.

The blonde beauty accessorized the look with Irene Neuwirth One of a Kind Gemmy Gem Flora earrings in 18k rose gold and pink tourmaline, an One of a Kind emerald-cut Bezel ring in 18k yellow gold on her left middle finger and an One of a Kind Gemmy Gem Double Stone ring in 18k yellow gold on her right index finger.

Makeup artist Vincent Oquendo elongated her eyes with a trait of eyeliner pencil and carefully separated her lashes with a touch of mascara. On her lids we could see a glittery mauve eyeshadow that matched her earrings, keeping the look playful and cohesive.

The hair was styled in a wavy do by Clayton Hawkins, opting for a middle part with soft curtain bangs. The pro mentioned using products by Sexy Hair, Living Proof, Dove and tools by Tangle Teezer to achieve the look; the nails were kept natural.

The “Wildflower” actress worked with stylist Jordan Johnson, fresh from an incredible styling run with Michelle Yeoh leading up to the Academy Awards.

Her usual aesthetic is sophisticated but at the same time colorful and fun, Johnson indeed plays with colors and textures a lot and is an interesting professional to observe.

I like how the stylist adapts from client to client, opting for more mature ensembles as the age of her clients progresses. This symbolizes to me that each of them has their own journey and there is not a standard aesthetic imposed on everyone.

Such attention to detail is crucial in this business.

White House Plumbers is an American satirical political drama television miniseries created and written by Alex Gregory and Peter Huyck and directed by David Mandel, based on the 2007 book Integrity by Egil Krogh and Matthew Krogh.
