Julianne Moore‘s ensemble for this year’s CNMI Sustainable Fashion Awards stole my heart not many days ago.
I am a fan of the actress and I may be a little bit biased but the delicate chicness she exudes each time she walks on a red carpet is quite mesmerizing. She truly embodies talent, grace and elegance, expressed through her way of dressing.
For the night, Moore wore a burnt orange Bottega Veneta halter-neck dress with gold accents, a different color from her usual black or green palette.
Moore paired it with burgundy Bottega Veneta Punta Heels in croc-embossed patent calfskin with covered stiletto heel and a black Bottega Veneta Knot Minaudiere Intreccio leather clutch crafted from strips of leather that have been worked into the label’s Foulard Intreccio weave.
One of the most interesting identifications from this look were her Bottega Veneta yellow gold metal Knot earrings with butterfly closure, a rare feast for the eyes.
Her gold detail on the dress was also probably a yellow gold Bottega Veneta Anello Drop ring.
A true testament to Blazy‘s creativity and love for shapes and design.
Julianne‘s makeup consisted of rusty tones around the eyes and a hint of black eyeliner, plus an abundance of black elongating mascara. Everything was courtesy of MUA Kay Montano, who tied everything together with rose-y blush.
The hair was styled in a sleek, middle part hairstyle by Halley Brisker, who used Olaplex products and ghd hair tools to achieve it. Everything was very streamlined and simple, not overpowering the dress.
To conclude, manicurist Lucy Tucker prepped the “Sharper” actress’ short burgundy nails using Tribe pro tools and also hydrated them using Byredo products; what a classy woman.
Julianne Moore has been working consistently with stylist Kate Young lately, and with it came a more refined, very clean aesthetic. Young is very good at working with people who have a loyal connection to certain brands, take Dakota Johnson with Gucci or Sophie Turner with Louis Vuitton.
In this case, Moore is a Bottega Veneta enthusiast, so the reasoning still stands.
Julianne is a precious treasure whether we talk about fashion or acting. Just an adorable woman through and through.
The CNMI Sustainable Fashion Awards 2023 took place on September the 24th.
They were held in the setting of Teatro alla Scala in Milan. The event was organized by Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana and the Ethical Fashion Initiative of the UN Agency ITC in collaboration with the Ellen MacArthur Foundation.
The Awards featured and awarded personalities and other virtuous realities that have emerged in the Italian and international fashion industry for their commitment to sustainability in its highest sense: vision, innovation, commitment to craftsmanship, inclusivity, circular economy, human rights and environmental justice.
