I am very fond of bustier dresses, because of their air of regality and because as a big breasted woman I find that they support my body in a better way than common clothing.

I know it may be a controversial statement for our times but mine is just a personal preference based on a functional angle that I am sure many of you will understand. Also, I am very much someone willing to “suffer” for a look, hence why a corset is not that big of a deal for me.

Whenever I see someone wearing one on the red carpet I am reminded of how much it can change your posture and your movements, something I also observed at the London premiere of “The Bikeriders“.

Actress Jodie Comer did indeed looked magnificent in a burgundy custom Vivienne Westwood bustier long dress with back slit, paired with gold leather Jimmy Choo Rosie 100 knot sandals.

Through the delicate strands of her hair, we can see that she also accessorized the ensemble with a pair of Frida & FlorenceStarlight‘ gold earrings.

The “Killing Eve” actress’ makeup was focused on her natural beauty and her already enviable features.

Celebrity MUA Naoko Scintu intensified her eyes with a precise trait of black eyeliner on the upper and lower lash line and curled and coated her lashes with an intense black mascara.

Scintu is well known for her precision and the lightness of her hand, which was reflected in the gentle touch she used to apply a peach-y creamy lipstick on Jodie‘s pout; all products used were courtesy of Dolce & Gabbana Beauty, for which the famed pro is a Global Makeup Expert.

Christian Wood styled the blonde stunner’s hair in a chic, soft updo, leaving out Comer‘s long curtain bangs, parting them in perfect halves–one of the most beautiful hairstyles to show off her pale décolletage.

Quite extraordinarily, I was able to find some more information related to her dark berry manicure.

Her manicurist for the occasion, Jenni Draper, had a chat with British Vogue and revealed that the inspiration came from the dress, which “was a perfect hue for a dark nail”.

She mentioned using her own line of PersoNAILity™️ tools “to file the nails into a gently rounded, elegant shape, before applying two coats of Rouge Noir [editor’s note: a nail polish by Chanel Beauty]. She then used Le Gel topcoat for a glossy, plump finish, before matching the toes with the same shade”.

On her own Instagram, Draper seemed to be hinting that she also used the Chanel Beauty N°5 L’EAU – On Hand Cream as skincare.

Comer was styled by Elizabeth Saltzman, an invisible presence when it comes to red carpet dressing.

I am always amazed by the choices she makes for her clients, because although her aesthetic is quite recognizable, she always comes up with something fresh, nothing is ever predetermined, which makes observing her work quite rewarding.

Saltzman is a silent force in the business but her work is worthy of respect–I think she is the perfect fit for a private person such as Jodie Comer.
