Jian Lu (originally JianQiao Lu) is a Chinese-born New-York-based makeup artist.
After graduating from Fudan University in Shanghai, Jian came to New York in 2018 and pursued his degree in theatre at Columbia University.
Immersed in lighting and costume, Jian soon recollected his love for fashion and beauty.
Following his true calling, Jian Lu made the shift from a stage manager to a makeup artist.
Along the way, Jian works under industry top makeup artists and works on major campaigns and red carpets; Jian teams up with young artists to create unforgettable shoots and shows.
He assists and has assisted beauty industry leaders such as Hung Vanngo, Maria Ortega, Jonathan Wu and Kevin Cheah.
