We’d like to close this week by writing about what actor and musician Jeff Goldblum wore to the New York City premiere of “Asteroid City“.

I cannot lie, I’ve been a huge fan of his style lately and it was about time that I took my time and discussed it with you.

For the occasion, Goldblum donned a custom Prada aviation-colored panama mohair coat and trousers with knit detail and albino-colored poplin collar, antique pink poplin shirt and tie paired with black leather Prada shoes.

The get-up was presumably inspired by several looks from the Fall 2023 collection.

He magnificently accessorized his ensemble with a pair of gold Jacques Marie Mage “THE JEFF” limited edition frames and a Cartier Tank Louis watch in yellow gold with a black crocodile strap and white dial.

The grooming and hairstyling was–as always–courtesy of David Cox, who mentioned using R+Co products to style the American actor in a sleek side parted do. The skin looked fresh and his complexion even.

We should all praise stylist Andrew Thomas Vottero for this renewed interest in Jeff‘s style. I must admit that I wasn’t interested in the “Jurassic World” actor till recently, when he showed up in an abundance of Prada suits.

It’s incredibly difficult even for me, as a writer, to actually find menswear options that could pique your interest, because many men tend to fall in the classic cliché of a black blazer and white shirt, and apart from being repetitive, it becomes incredibly boring.

Surely there are shy men who prefer to dress a certain way for many reasons, but when men risk and understand that they can be whoever they want to be and that they won’t lack in credibility, that kind of freedom goes a long way.

Take Jake Gyllenhaal, Jeremy Pope, Sebastian Stan and Josh O’Connor, they are all talented and fashionable men, the two things can go hand in hand.
