Jasmin Savoy Brown at “Scream VI” Premiere – NY

After this Easter break (for those who celebrate it) we are bringing you something from a premiere that took place last month and we are introducing you to a new entry: actress and singer Jasmin Savoy Brown.

We were intrigued by her ensemble for the New York premiere of “Scream VI“, that’s why we are writing about it today.

For the red carpet, Savoy Brown donned a light blue Givenchy almost backless dress with thigh-high slit and thin straps from the Spring 2023 Ready-to-Wear collection.

She accessorized the look with a red Givenchy Mini Kenny silk satin bag with silver logo hardware and an abundance of Bulgari jewelry: a pair of Serpenti earrings in 18kt white gold, set with emerald eyes and full pavé diamonds, a Serpenti Viper bracelet, a Serpenti ring, a Viper ring and a white gold Serpenti ring 18kt white gold ring set with a blue sapphire on the head, emerald eyes and pavé diamonds.

Jasmin also wore a pair of bright red platform sandals to match the bag and the red accents of her dress.

Savoy‘s makeup was courtesy of MUA Billie Gene who opted for a blown-out light eyeliner flick and false lashes. It was obvious that the color red was the focal point of the look, indeed he applied a bright red, shiny lipstick on her lips. The overall feel was sensual, carefree but still elevated.

The hair was instead courtesy of hairstylist Takisha Sturdivant-Drew, who used her own line of TSD Hair extensions for some extra inches. The pro styled the actress’ hair in little cornrows, taming and shaping the flyaways with gel for the chicest and cutest effect.

Nails were kept au naturel, but she also showed off a red pedicure to match.

I’ve been observing Jasmin‘s stylist Amanda Lim for some time and I’m intrigued by her diverse clientele and her work with brands that have many things in common with who gets to wear them. I think that it’s always good to support different communities, especially if they are underrepresented and in need of a bigger audience.

Stylists and celebrities can really help a lot with that; I hope more of them will do it more in the future.
