Outfit: bespoke Anderson & Sheppard
Groomer: Laila Hayani
Manicurist: Kate Williamson

It’s been a long time since I last wrote about Jake Gyllenhaal, and it’s incredibly strange because I am a huge fan of his work, but sometimes my mind spins so much that I lose the point entirely, my bad.

As you know, colors do a lot for me and they usually make or break an article here, because we truly cannot talk about black suits over and over again (even though goth is my main style in real life and I think I know a thing or two about loving black and the way it makes one feel).

That being said, I’d love to write about the actor attending the New York premiere of his latest project “The Bride!” because I was struck by the tailoring and the color of his ensemble, and you’ll understand why in a bit.

For the occasion, Gyllenhaal wore a sage green bespoke Anderson & Sheppard grey single-breasted suit with peak lapels. The cloth was 100% merino wool, from Fox Brothers 1772’s ‘Fox City‘ bunch, which is a three season cloth suitable for jackets, trousers and suits.

Underneath, he wore a white men’s shirt, accessorized with a light gray tie and black lacquered double buckle shoes.

Jake‘s grooming was courtesy of Laila Hayani who made sure the “Road House” actor’s skin looked supple and his hair was in place.

Manicurist Kate Williamson took care of his nails and hands using products by Dr. Barbara Sturm, Biodance and L:a Bruket.

For this specific event, Gyllenhaal was styled by the renowned George Cortina.

The Bride! is a 2026 American Gothic romance film written and directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal.

It stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Ronnie Reed, a popular Hollywood actor idolized by Frank (played by Christian Bale).

The film draws inspiration from the 1935 film Bride of Frankenstein, which was based on Mary Shelley‘s 1818 novel Frankenstein.
