I deeply believe in knowledge and the power of research, as well as the force of hidden meanings and context.
I also obviously noticed that in a fashion world full of hot takes and instant gratification, there is little space for reflection and willingness to step into other people’s shoes, as if there was no time to waste, so pressing is the urge to let everyone know how you think or feel.
I don’t subscribe to that, because in my opinion it lacks depth and we will all probably become even more shallow because of this way of interacting, something I will never encourage in good conscience.
I’ll probably end up alone on this journey but if you see yourself reflected in these words, this article will be worth your time.

Of course I religiously followed the “Wuthering Heights” press tour and I was delighted by its visuals in every possible way, both from Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi.
Elordi is capable of wearing the same brand over and over without ever making it feel stale or repetitive, probably because his innate fashion sense dictates how he approaches clothing, and I admire it in a man.
Let’s talk about what Jacob wore to the Sydney premiere of the movie then, because I was able to find an interesting fun fact about his outfit that you may have missed.
The Australian actor donned a blue/greyish Bottega Veneta peak lapel double-breasted suit, paired with a light grey men’s shirt, a blue tie and white tassel loafers.

He accessorized his ensemble with C de Cartier Stud Earrings in 18K white gold, his usual pair of Jacques Marie Mage Casablanca in Noir sunglasses, a gold Cartier Juste un Clou ring on his right index finger and a gold Cartier LOVE ring on his right ring finger among others.
The pièce de résistance of this look was his gold tooth that I subsequently discovered was an intentional choice (at first I honestly thought it clashed with his usual style).

The custom grill was a creation of jewelry designer and Jacob‘s longtime collaborator Jonathan Raksha of Maison Raksha.
You can clearly see a “Catherine + Heathcliff” hand engraving on it, with star set diamonds in 14k gold, to signify the love between the characters in the actor’s latest project.
This time a phone interview with the designer for British GQ helped us all understand how the red carpet moment came to be.
“Jacob had asked for ‘C’ and ‘H’ in cursive, so I had suggested that we intertwine the letters in a way that gave the piece a feeling of old antique style [jewellery].”
“A few days before completion I suggested to him, ‘Hey, I have an idea to put these two diamonds in to represent each character, and if we set them in a star-setting style, it just gives the piece a bit more flavor, a bit more excitement. And he approved’.”
Raksha described the red carpet moment as emotional instead of red carpet pageantry, and Jacob as a fashionable and creative guy who probably wanted a memento to “Wuthering Heights“, because in the end, this is how the jeweler sees his work.
“As his personal jeweller, we’re here to actualize these fun ideas. That’s what we do as a brand. We create these timeless objects that have deeper meaning intertwined into them.”
Jacob‘s grooming was courtesy of Amy Komorowski–using of course her beauty line Circa 1970–the queen of undone, rebellious hair.
I cannot emphasize more how crucial is the importance of grooming, because even though it may seem undetectable, it plays such an integral part in how you perceive a man’s appearance.
You all love Jacob Elordi, Sebastian Stan, Bradley Cooper, Timothée Chalamet and Austin Butler; what do they have in common?
Great hair and flawless skin, thanks exactly to Komorowski‘s undeniable artistry.
Elordi was styled by Wendi and Nicole Ferreira, two lovely women who elevate the Australian’s heartthrob fashion game through sharp tailoring and impeccable taste.
