What I love about writing about Jacob Elordi is his ambivalence, because when you look at him, you see a very conventional man, extremely tall, with good features but who’s able to portray different facets of human emotions for the world to see.

When it comes to the way he dresses, there’s surely a quest for perfection but at the same time an ease that is paired with the intention of breaking predefined social structures.

I am sure you are all aware of the bag craze he has contributed to, you just need to type ‘Jacob Elordi bags’ on Google to see what I’m talking about and with ASAP Rock, they almost created a sort of permission structure that would make men feel less guilty about liking wearing big, beautiful bags.

I’ve been following his career since “Euphoria” and I deem him an extremely complex man who also has the skills to reshape what I can say are wrong perceptions of what masculinity stands for and what it means.

It is with great pleasure indeed that I will write about what he wore to the premiere of his latest project “On Swift Horses” during the Toronto International Film Festival.

Elordi donned an olive custom Bottega Veneta double-breasted peak lapel suit, with a white unfastened shirt underneath, paired with black round toe boots.

In some shots we can see that he also complemented his ensemble with a pair of Bottega Veneta BV1214S 001 sunglasses with black frames, a–supposedly–Cartier watch with a brown strap that is not possible to identify because it’s covered by the sleeves and some gold jewels that are usually part of his real life wardrobe.

Jacob‘s grooming was left in the fabulous hands of Amy Komorowski, who didn’t shy away from using the best products to enhance the actor’s beautiful face and achieve the best result with minimum effort.

As always, the groomer gave Jacob‘s hair that little edge she is known for, striving for elegance while keeping things casual–we should also add that you can barely do anything wrong with someone as handsome as him.

Once again, the “Oh, Canada” actor was styled by Wendi and Nicole Ferreira, who have been instrumental in striking the right balance between classic suiting and informal wear, depending on the occasion.

What I like about their collaboration with the Australian heartthrob is the fact that he almost never wears something straight out black, which to me symbolizes the fact that he doesn’t take himself too seriously and that he is willing to play, something he clearly does with his yellow Louis Vuitton bag or his tomato red custom Bottega Veneta Andiamo carry-all.
