Harry Styles is a lovely human being and it was a pity to see that his new movie “Don’t Worry Darling” was embroiled in so much drama before its premiere.
I think that circumstances are more complex than they seem and people should not play the part of the judge when they do not know the whole story.
On this website we are focused on fashion so it’s imperative for us to yes, form an opinion on the matter, but also to leave that stuff behind us and look beyond.
Here is what Harry Styles wore to last year’s Venice Film Festival.
Styles donned a custom Gucci blue blazer with peak lapels, paired with matching pants. Underneath it he wore a light blue men’s shirt with long sleeves and exaggerated peaked collar.
The ensemble was playfully complemented with Gucci HA HA HA white boots with heart decoration and gold accents, plus Gucci 786/S sunglasses with black frames and yellow lenses. They also had a signature logo on each arm that matched the gold-tone pins.
The jewels were his own; you can read more about them here.
The entertainer’s makeup was courtesy of Dotti, whose philosophy is centered around glowy and hydrated skin, shortly: makeup that doesn’t look like makeup. We should also add that there’s very little that one can do with such a face as his, it’s already perfect.
His hair was instead styled in a wavy coif by Malcolm Edwards, one of the styles that suits him best. You can do whatever you please with that kind of luscious locks, but the casual/carefree attitude Harry exudes goes very well with a “less serious” hairstyle.
What prompted me to write this article was that some days ago I fell down a rabbit hole and in that same rabbit hole I found his manicurist for the occasion: Dohee Bahn. These little discoveries make me so happy, because they tell you a lot about the in-depth nature of the work I do here and I hope you are appreciative of that.
Dohee coined a specific term to describe this manicure: “on/off nails” and it’s pretty accurate since she only painted his thumbs, middle fingers and pinkies. Of course the nail polishes used were courtesy of Pleasing, Harry‘s beauty line.
As always, Harry collaborated with stylist Harry Lambert, the embodiment of the musician’s personality.
Lambert has now become synonymous with eclecticism and avant-garde.
His style is so recognizable that you could easily pick each one of his clients from a crowd, but I should also say that he has an ability to adapt to the occasion an go for “an obvious choice” every once in a while but with a little of his effervescence sprinkled throughout.
