Pausing a bit our MET Gala red carpet coverage, we wanted to talk about something more subdued but incredibly elegant. That’s where Hailee Steinfeld‘s presence during this year’s Venice Film Festival comes into play.
Steinfeld donned a black Armani Privé backless beaded and sequined dress from the Spring 2006 Couture collection.
Hailee paired the sultry look with René Caovilla black Ellabrita beaded heeled sandals.
However, other people delved into Armani‘s archives for the festival and you can rest assured that we’ll cover them on the website, eventually.
Her makeup artist Cedric Jolivet used an Armani Beauty Lip Power Vivid Color Long Wear Lipstick in the shade #104 ‘Selfless‘ to complement the brown-y/reddish tone of the actress’ eyeshadow look.

Competencia Oficial (Official Competition) is a 2021 Spanish comedy film, starring Antonio Banderas, Penélope Cruz and Oscar Martínez.
The movie focuses on a wealthy businessman who hires a famous filmmaker to help make a smash hit film; it had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival on 4 September 2021.
