Florence White (also known as Florrie) was fascinated by beauty from a young age, but it wasn’t until she was 29 that she decided to enroll in a makeup course. She studied languages at University but she later realized that all she spent money on were magazines and cosmetics.
Florrie worked at a swimwear shop in Ibiza, where she had the opportunity to serve some of the most famous models like Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista. Through these contacts she got to assist Charlotte Tilbury, finishing off by completing a makeup course at the UK Glauca Rossi School of Makeup.
Also, it was probably her childhood memories of Biba lip gloss, headscarves and clouds of opium perfume, as worn by Florrie White’s mother, that influenced her passion for working with some of today’s most glamorous women.
Florrie is called upon by a diversity of red carpet names: Alexa Chung, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Rosamund Pike and Emily Blunt to name a few.
Florrie’s solo career kicked off in 2005.
Her creative flair shines within the folds of Vogue, i-D, Dazed & Confused, Pop & Another Magazine with photographers such as Ellen von Unwerth, Boo George, Mel Bles and Benjamin Alexander Huseby.
Not just working in editorial she has a client list which includes Mugler, Stella McCartney, Net-a-Porter, M Missoni and Orla Kiely.
She is represented by Bryant Artists and you can find her portfolio HERE
