It’s been a while since we last wrote about FKA twigs and today we’ll do it again because of her red carpet appearance at the premiere of “The King’s Man“, held at the Cineworld Leicester Square on December 6, 2021 in London, England.
Tahliah (that’s her real name) wore an ensemble by a pretty unknown designer called Miss Corpus. The entertainer mentioned on her Instagram that she picked up the ensemble from Fantastic Toiles the Saturday before the premiere.
Fantastic Toiles is located at Railway Arch 434, Avenue Road, Forest Gate, London, E7 0LB. The emporium sells wares from independent young designers not interested in mass consumption, mass production and the usual fashion week calendar. The boutique also gives them a place to start showcasing their creations to a bigger and diverse audience.
Twigs accessorized the look with different iterations of Bentley & Skinner Victorian bracelets and a pair of Victorian garnet and diamond drop earrings, each consisting of an oval cabochon garnet with diamond-set leaves above, suspending a pear-shape cabochon garnet with similar foliate diamond-set decorations, all mounted in silver and yellow gold, with gold wire fittings–among others.
Other little ornaments included a pair of ruby and diamond Huggie earrings.
To finish off the look, the dancer/singer sported a pair of Jimmy Choo tan stretch bonded over-the-knee Bryson 100 boots with a sharply pointed toe and sculptural 100mm heel.
Hairstylist Rio Sreedharan used the OrganiGrowHairCo. mousse to set FKA‘s soft fluffy curls.
Her nails were courtesy of Carolina Ibrahim, who decorated FKA‘s nails starting with a nude base and little pearls on top of it.
