On this freezing Thursday I thought it might be a good idea to write about someone who will probably be part of your Christmas celebrations, even if just from afar.
I am talking about Finn Wolfhard, who has been promoting the final season of “Stranger Things” these past weeks.
As you may know, the second part of the 5th season is due to drop on Christmas Day, hence why my previous statement.
According to a brand statement, to the Los Angeles premiere of the press tour, Wolfhard donned an Alexander McQueen tailored jacket and trousers in black wool with distressed tartan embroidery.
Underneath it, he wore a Harness shirt in black cotton and black T-bar Icon square sunglasses from the Spring-Summer Pre-collection 2026.
On his feet, you could see a pair of black boots and we know that he also accessorized his look with a Cartier watch that was sadly not visible in any of the shots available.
Finn‘s grooming was courtesy of Blondie Gamon who mentioned using the Korean skincare brand Anua on his face.
His hair was styled in a punk-ish, slightly messy do, perfectly in line with the nature of his persona and the brand he chose to wear.
The “It” actor was styled by Warren Alfie Baker who did a very good job at referencing the series through clothing (at least that’s what I am seeing).

I suppose that if you look at the tartan patches, you may see parallels with the portals that the Demogorgons create when they jump from the real world into the Upside Down because they are red and they form a sort of web through which one can walk before they close.
It was a smart move because tartan is part of Alexander McQueen‘s heritage, it fits Finn‘s rocker style perfectly and it could also be seen as a subtle way to honor the beloved series that is coming to an end.
Kudos to Warren Alfie Baker for making menswear always interesting and exciting.

Stranger Things is an American television series created by the Duffer Brothers for Netflix.
Produced by Monkey Massacre Productions and 21 Laps Entertainment, the first season was released on Netflix on July 15, 2016. The second and third seasons followed in October 2017 and July 2019, respectively, and the fourth season was released in two parts in May and July 2022.
