She started her career as a graphic designer and online editor before making the switch to makeup.
She has always loved fashion and makeup and in 2000, a director friend in Los Angeles who knew she wanted to pursue makeup as a career, asked her if she would do the hair, makeup, and styling for four commercials. She quit her job at a post facility and threw herself into the project and never looked back, gradually building a clientele through recommendations.
She moved to NYC in 2002 to assist editorial makeup artists whose work she admired in fashion magazines and runway collections. In 2003, she was lucky enough to get signed with an important rep agency which has been her home for the several years, taking her all over the globe for shoots and celebrity clients.
