Slow steps are bringing us back to “normalcy” and one of the many perks of it, is the return of in-person events.

One of the most recent ones was the premiere of Disney‘s “Cruella” at El Capitan Theatre on May 18, 2021 in Los Angeles, California.

Emma Stone plays the titular character and she stunned in a Louis Vuitton suit made up of a black blazer, white pussy blouse and long black flared pants, paired with black satin pumps.

Stone accessorized the look with a dagger brooch from the Riders of the Knights collection, called ‘Les Armoiries’ brooch and LV Volt upside down earrings, in 18-karat yellow gold and white gold paved with 60 sparkling diamonds swinging from a delicate chain. In the shots you can spot a little Louis Vuitton Petite Malle red monogram vernis leather cross body bag.

The brooch on Emma‘s right lapel acquires a different meaning once one delves into the true origin of the collection where it comes from, indeed according to Thailand Tatler, Francesca Amfitheatrof (Louis Vuitton‘s Artistic Director of Watches and Jewelry) explained that: “The collection is about these extraordinary medieval heroines who changed the course of history through the force of their strength and will. I capture the idea of strength through big chains, armour, amulets and even swords.”

Citing “The piece was composed with three types of gold (white gold, yellow gold, and pink gold) and has one pear-shaped yellow diamond, 110 yellow diamonds, and 41 white diamonds. It took 80 hours to craft.”

The collection was launched in 2019 at the Prague Castle, the perfect setting for such an exhibition.

We all know Louis Vuitton‘s idea of a strong, powerful woman and Emma channels it both on and off screen (even as a new mother now).

When it came to hair, hairstylist Mara Roszak exclusively told that she wanted to enhance Emma‘s natural wavy texture “to complement the very French and structured look of the Louis Vuitton suit.”

“Her hair has a slight natural wave that I like to enhance. It’s long, absolutely gorgeous and healthy.”

Her makeup artist Rachel Goodwin put some little pearls near the tear duct and on the tail of Emma‘s eyeliner, opting for a thin cat eye that didn’t overpower the chic ensemble.

To conclude, nail artist Emi Kudo used a Peacci nail polish in the shade Chilli to go with the whole color-scheme.

Here’s a quick tutorial straight from the manicurist’s Instagram:
“After filing nails and cleaning up cuticle, we used Peacci base coat, followed with 2 coats of Chilli, and glossy & fast dry Peacci top coat, then finished with Peacci scented cuticle oil.”
