We can confidently say that Emma Chamberlain has become a fashion sensation through the years and her style is replicated left and right.

The Business of Fashion 500 Gala, one of her latest public outings (apart from fashion week which is a chapter on its own, indeed she truly served) has caught my attention, so I’m delighted to write about it today.

For the occasion, Chamberlain donned an Armani Privé beaded look with colorful rhombus motifs in the front, cascading into a long black skirt from the Spring 2023 Couture collection.

She accessorized it with a pair of Pluie de Cartier white gold diamond earrings, an Étincelle de Cartier ring on her left middle finger and a two row diamond ring on her right ring finger. The shoes were barely visible from a video outside the venue and they seemed to be black open-toe sandals.

What pushed me to write about this look was obviously the makeup, because when you report on red carpet beauty, you’re also taking about different sorts of formal occasions and people tend to play it safe because they don’t want to look bad for the cameras.

I am someone who loves to play with with makeup and as far as I’m concerned it is my own kind of therapy, my armor. I don’t do it because of peer pressure but because it makes me feel better and keeps my creativity afloat (something that I deem sacred).

Celebrity makeup artist Nadia Tayeh played with the space Emma‘s bleached brows offered her and reprised the colors that were present on her dress to create a diffused smokey eye. She applied some lime green on the eyebrows, a bit of blue eyeshadow on the outer corners of the eyes and a foiled teal eyeshadow on the inner corners. On the outer parts of the bridge of the nose she also applied a hint of purple eyeshadow for added contrast–a nude creamy peachy lip finished off the look.

The hair was styled by Marty Harper in a sleek, structured updo with middle part. Probably the best choice since the makeup and the dress were a lot on their own.

Manicurist Imarni Ashman created a simple, nude, oval-shaped manicure for the famed Youtube personality, using a The Gel Bottle nail polish in the shade ‘Precious‘ from the ‘Glamourati‘ collection as the base, rubbing on top of it an ‘Iced‘ Chrome Pigment by the same brand for maximum shine.

Emma Chamberlain chose her best ally when she started working with stylist Jared Ellner. The way he reinvents her on every red carpet is astounding, it seems as if we are in front of a new iteration of a character each time Emma steps outside.

One day it could be a bossy woman, another day it could be an edgy punk, and sometimes a sophisticated dancer.

Ellner, you are doing God’s work! Never stop, please.
