Emilia Clarke is a joyful human being despite the many adversities she has been facing with her health and there is no better example of a brave young woman, ready to conquer the world.

One of the last award shows she attended for the last season of Game Thrones were the 71st Emmy Awards at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles on September 22, 2019.

Clarke, in all her glory, donned a dark blue Valentino Haute Couture ensemble, featuring a plunging V-neckline, two pleated front panels, a tie around the waist, pockets, and two side slits in the straight skirt. The look came from the Fall 2019 collection.

According to the star, she wore the dress to channel the iconic 2000 Versace dress Jennifer Lopez is very well known for and which launched Google Images. If we pay close attention, it resembles more the updated version that we recently saw on the Milan Fashion Week runway for the Versace Spring 2020 Ready-to-Wear collection. Keep in mind: this is not a custom look, but it’s nice to see women supporting women and if a person can send a message through clothing, it’ll always be welcome here.

The fabulous look was paired with matching Jimmy Choo satin open toe platform sandals, a Valentino Bebop Loop metal clutch in metallic, a David Webb 18K yellow gold Grand Central opal & diamond ring and David Webb earrings made up of cabochon opal drops, fluted cabochon sapphires, brilliant-cut diamonds, green enamel, 18K gold, and platinum.

Hairstlist/colorist Eddie Cook did some balayage on Emilia‘s brunette extensions from The Hair Shop, then did another round of highlights and glossed with Wella Professionals Color Touch toner.
