Her outfit for the opening ceremony of the 72nd annual Cannes Film Festival on May 14, 2019 in Cannes, France (and subsequent “The Dead Don’t Die” red carpet) proved to be one for the books.
Elle wore a custom Gucci soft pink silk gown with cape, purple and ivory floral embroidery at the waist paired with nude Gucci leather platform sandals.
Fanning‘s red lips were courtesy of L’Oréal Colour Riche lipstick in the shade “Red Carpet“.
Elle‘s accessories consisted of a pair of Chopard earrings from the Red Carpet Collection crafted of pear–and round–shaped diamonds totaling 38.99 carats, all set in 18-karat white gold, a ring from the Temptations Collection in 18ct rose gold featuring a heart shaped purple tourmaline and diamonds, and a ring from the Magical Setting Collection in 18ct white gold set with round diamonds (10.62 carats).
