Oscars throwback are a thing, especially when outfits are so good they can’t be left in the past. So what about Eiza González attending the 90th Annual Academy Awards on March 4, 2018?
González was a vision in a yellow Ralph Lauren halter neck backless long dress from the Spring 2018 Ready-to-Wear collection, a gown she purposely wore to boost her mood as she confided to People.com.
“Listen, that’s how I felt at the moment. I felt very full of life, and I felt that as soon as I wore that yellow, I felt very sure of being a woman. And I feel like that’s really helped me to get where I am–being very secure of myself, and carrying myself, and I knew it was going to be a pop of color in a sea of women and I did it also for myself–it was therapeutic.”
Eiza paired the look with matching satin Brian Atwood ‘Karin‘ open toe platform sandals (the style is the one pictured above, but in a different color).
Her jewelry consisted of Chopard earrings featuring a 5.62-carat rectangular step-cut diamond, a 5.22-carat rectangular step-cut diamond, 2.31-carats of baguette-cut diamonds, and 0.77-carats of diamonds set in 18k white gold; a Chopard bracelet featuring 53.43-carats of diamonds set in 18k white gold and a ring featuring a 3.02-carat emerald-cut diamond set in 18k white gold, all from the High Jewelry Collection.
For Eiza‘s juicy lips, makeup artist Amy Oresman used a Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Shine in the shade ‘Bright Poppy‘.
The “I Care a Lot” actress had her hair gently caressing her back with its loose waves, exuding sensuality from every pore. She showed the right amount of skin, in a game of elegance and seduction.
The Mexican-born stunner takes her responsibility as a Latina role model very seriously and there is no doubt that she would look for the proper balance between femininity and comfort, without losing her elegance and charme.
Eiza González presented the awards for Best Sound Editing and Best Sound Mixing together with Ansel Elgort.
