On this sunny Tuesday I wanted to take a break from the past, by writing about a recent premiere, that of the movie “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare” which took place at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater on April 15, 2024.

For the event, actress Eiza González looked otherworldly in a gold Jason Wu Collection shoulderless bustier long dress from the Fall 2024 Ready-to-Wear collection.

She paired the ensemble with gold Maison ErnestLux‘ mirror mules, plus a pair of Panthère de Cartier rose gold earrings, each set with 1 emerald eye, 6 onyx spots, 1 onyx nose, 9 onyx stones, 8 rubellites, and 134 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 3.44 carats.

The Mexican actress was made up by Alex Rutkovskiy who prepped her skin with Charlotte Tilbury Skincare to then proceed with the makeup from the same brand.

The pro slightly filled-in her eyebrows, enhanced her eyes with a trait of black liner and natural-looking false lashes, applied a gold eyeshadow on the lids and a rose-y lipstick on Eiza‘s pout.

Hairstylist Cherilyn Farris styled the “3 Body Problem” actress’ hair in an Old Hollywood do, leaving part of her fringe to cover her left eye for a mysterious touch and another portion of her hair behind her ears so she could show off her precious Cartier jewels.

The Mexican beauty also opted for a light orange oval-shaped manicure (courtesy of Casey Herman) to go with the look, without overpowering it.

González was styled by Elizabeth Saltzman, another professional who I’d like to call ‘invisible stylist’.

Saltzman has always done wonders for the actress, making sure her style is never repetitive and up to par with the roles she portrays. The stylist is not one to brag, but she knows how to enhance a woman’s figure, making her feel confident in herself and ready to take on the world.

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is a 2024 spy action comedy film directed, co-written and co-produced by Guy Ritchie.

Based on the 2014 book Churchill’s Secret Warriors: The Explosive True Story of the Special Forces Desperadoes of WWII by Damien Lewis, the film portrays a heavily fictionalised version of Operation Postmaster.

In the movie, González plays the role of Marjorie Stewart.
