Stylist: Harry Lambert
Outfit: Gucci by Alessandro Michele
Groomer: Petra Sellge
Watch: Omega
Eddie Redmayne‘s style evolution has been one of the most interesting to date. Already known for his heartfelt portrayals of multifaceted characters, there was just one thing missing from his CV: being a fashion icon.
From unstructured ensembles to dapper outfits, Redmayne has surprised us occasion after occasion, till he reached the peak during last year’s GQ Men of the Year Awards in Berlin.
On the red carpet, the actor was seen wearing a Gucci see through red floral turtleneck, paired with dark grey/brown pants from the Resort 2023 collection, one of the last creations by former creative director Alessandro Michele.
Of course–being a brand ambassador–he accessorized his look with an Omega Constellation Co-Axial Master Chronometer 41 mm in stainless steel and 18K Sedna™ Gold, with a lacquered dial featuring a gradient effect that transitioned from burgundy to black. The watch had a burgundy leather strap with rubber lining.
The shoes he wore seemed to be a pair of black Gucci ankle boots.
Groomer Petra Sellge did her magic by keeping his skin glowy and hydrated and gently spiked his hair for a more youthful look–in slight contrast with the romantic nature of the top.
Once again, a great collaboration between the “Fantastic Beasts” actor and stylist Harry Lambert.
I think it is imperative to say that Lambert has brought the creative side out of many of his clients, especially those he works with on a regular basis.
I was so happy to see him styling Maude Apatow for Vogue World: London last Thursday though, and this is just an example of how he’s able to shift people’s perception of someone if only he is given the chance.
With Eddie he slowly built a solid foundation through time, to now let inspirations and references run wild.
