Today we were up for a change and introduced a new category of people on the website: basketball players. Many of them have impeccable style off the court, so why not write about them? Let’s begin with Dwyane Wade.
To this year’s Vanity Fair Party, Wade wore a tailored light green Gucci silk jacquard jacket with black satin peak lapel, paired with a white evening shirt, black bowtie and black pants.
To finish off the look, the former basketball player opted for black Gucci Horsebit leather loafers, a Cartier Santos Dumont watch with gold casing, a diamond band ring and a diamond stud on his left ear.
His precise and perfectly faded cut was courtesy of barber Donato Smith; his thumbs and pinky fingers were painted with a dark shade of green, complimentary to the look.
Absolutely loving men who are now down for a manicure, it adds some fun to their red carpet appearances.
Also, he and his wife Gabrielle Union are a true example of a power couple who is dealing with life’s adversities, working through them and overcoming them.
