Stylist: Ashley Weston
Outfit: Dior Homme by Kim Jones
Groomer: Sydney Sollod
Multitalented actor Darren Criss attended the 2nd annual The Hollywood Reporter & SAG-AFTRA Nominees Night to celebrate Emmy Award contenders, held at the Avra Beverly Hills Estiatorio on September 14, 2018 in Beverly Hills, California.
His outfit was a fresh take for a red carpet, a whole Dior Homme ensemble straight from the Dior Men Spring 2019 Menswear collection. A pair of black lacquered loafers with a pierced flap completed the look.
Men usually go for the “safe choice” but Darren and his stylist Ashley Weston often experiment together and their easiness and effortlessness in matters of clothing choices is always highly appreciated.

The event, hosted by THR editorial director Matthew Belloni and SAG-AFTRA president Gabrielle Carteris, served as the unofficial launch of the Emmy weekend festivities ahead of Monday’s ceremony.
Criss was nominated in the category Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie for his role as Andrew Cunanan in The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story on FX (editor’s note: he obviously won).
The series itself and his co-stars racked up a lot of nominations, a great testament to their talent and their willingness to talk about “uncomfortable” topics such as the sad passing of Gianni Versace.

The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story is the second season of the FX true crime anthology television series American Crime Story. The series explores the murder of designer Gianni Versace by the killer Andrew Cunanan, based on Maureen Orth‘s book Vulgar Favors: Andrew Cunanan, Gianni Versace, and the Largest Failed Manhunt in U.S. History.
