Daniel Martin is a London-based editorial hairstylist.
Martin began is career in a high street salon where he discovered his passion and talent for hairdressing. After nine successful years on the salon floor Daniel focused on becoming a session hairstylist.
He quickly became a key member of Eugene Souleiman‘s International Hairdressing Team followed by appointment as first assistant to world renowned hairdressing icon, Garren. This position gave Daniel the opportunity to learn a more classical approach to styling hair for high end fashion advertising and advertorial.
Between Souleiman’s “manga, cartoon hairdresser” style and Garren‘s “old school, classic” approach, Martin built a foundation of knowledge that serves him well today as he zigzags between magazine shoots, advertising campaigns and the red carpet.
Since then, Daniel has collaborated with numerous photographers including Mert and Marcus, Glen Luchford, Terry Richardson and Giampaolo Sgura.
His advertising clients include Stella McCartney, Max Mara, Diesel, Hugo Boss and Loewe.
Daniel has also styled an extensive list of celebrities, such as Catherine Deneuve, Ellie Goulding, Jennifer Garner, Lily James, Natalie Dormer, Penelope Cruz and Rita Ora.
