We like mixing new events with old events, and one of the most recent ones that caught our attention was the New York City premiere of “Where the Crawdads Sing” at the Museum of Modern Art on July 11, 2022.
One of the best dressed of the night was definitely Daisy Edgar-Jones.
Daisy looked incredible in an asymmetrical Gucci mini dress featuring a cascading hemline, entirely made from embroidered flowers. The piece comes from the Resort 2023 Cosmogonie collection.
The dress was paired with white Gucci sandals featuring a high stiletto heel, branded insole, an ankle strap with a side buckle fastening and thin structure (same model as pictured above, different color).
The accessories were as breathtaking as the dress, thanks to Tiffany & Co.: a pair of Apollo cluster ear clips from the Schlumberger collection, an amethyst ring with diamond bar and another one with flower motifs.
Seen the nature of the movie–pun pretty much intended–the choice of an outfit which combined so many natural elements came as no surprise. On the contrary, I’d say that it is rather expected if one likes to incorporate storytelling into clothing; it’s those subtle nods that truly get those who appreciate it.
When it came to hair and makeup, MUA Gita Bass kept things minimal by slightly defining the eyes with a pencil, abundant mascara and a lot of blush. Hair was styled in an updo by Takuya Yamaguchi who framed the actress’ face with some strands on the sides.
