Cooper Koch at the Academy Museum Gala 2024

Stylist: Jamie Mizrahi assisted by Alex Moghtadaie
Outfit: Saint Laurent
Groomer: Miho Suzuki
Shoes: Saint Laurent
Watch: Vacheron Constantin

I discovered Cooper Koch thanks to his poignant role in “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story” and from that I was deeply intrigued by his persona.

As I always do, I tried to know more about his career and creative choices and what I also found out was that he has worked with a stylist that I deeply admire, which made his fashion sense stand out even more to me.

For this year’s Academy Museum Gala, Koch was seen wearing a midnight blue Saint Laurent notch lapel single breasted suit, complete with matching pants and an oxblood red men’s shirt and tie from the Fall 2024 Menswear collection.

The ensemble was paired with–what seemed to be–black Saint Laurent XIV zipped shiny boots and a Vacheron Constantin Patrimony watch with a brown croc strap and a gold bezel.

Cooper‘s grooming was courtesy of Miho Suzuki, who the actor probably already appreciated on the set of the series he starred in, since she served as the makeup department head on the show.

Suzuki opted for a short, curly hairstyle in an effort to harmonize his very soft and delicate features.

Koch was styled by Jamie Mizrahi who dressed him in hues that are pleasurable to the eyes but also uncommon for the red carpet.

I love the fact that Mizrahi dips her toes into uncharted menswear territories, making tailored classics look as beautiful as they are comfortable and delightful.

It’s undeniable that Koch appreciates smart dressing and going for a rich, timeless and refined heritage brand such as Saint Laurent was the ultimate power move.
