Today is a rainy day, quite in contrast with the theme and the colors I am going to deal with this Thursday.

What can I say? I am made of extremes and I personally prefer things that most people don’t, and not because I am a contrarian, but because I genuinely value imperfections and differences above anything else.

So while I’m typing on my keyboard, the rain is falling down and I feel calm and at peace.

After watching the “Mean Girls” musical I was introduced to actor Christopher Briney and I couldn’t help but think about those heartthrobs who made people scream in the ’90s, and I saw that a kind of the same craze is around him, so I thought I might look deeper into it.

After some careful selection I ended up on a radiant outfit he wore to the New York City premiere of “The Summer I Turned Pretty” in 2022 and once I noticed that it was a brand that I have yet to write about on here, my decision was made.

Briney was indeed seen wearing a rich yellow Gabriela Hearst notch lapel suit with matching pants from the Fall 2022 Menswear collection, paired with white nappa leather Jimmy Choo Diamond Light Maxi/F sneakers and a white men’s shirt underneath.

To accessorize it, he opted for a silver pendant necklace.

Groomer Benjamin Parker Thigpen made sure his skin was in check and styled his hair in a slightly parted do.

The American actor was styled by Daniela Viviana Romero, who honed her craft by assisting Brad Goreski.

For what I can gather, Christopher is pretty chill when it comes to clothing: he can be sporty, casual and elegant, but I also think he is still finding his footing, so I’m interested in seeing his evolution while his fame progresses.

I liked the fact that he dipped his toes in Thom Browne, Versace and Louis Vuitton–brands with their own peculiar identities–hence why I’d like to see which ones he feels are more him than others.

Some fans called him the new Leonardo DiCaprio… will he be? Surely there’s a resemblance.
