Channing Tatum at “Fly Me to the Moon” Premiere – NY

Stylist: Andrew Mukamal
Outfit: custom Atelier Versace by Donatella Versace
Groomer: Jamie Taylor

This Wednesday I’d like to introduce you to a new entry on the website: American actor Channing Tatum.

For this article I combed through the pages of my dear “Versace: The Complete Collections” book to find the inspirations behind the actor’s ensemble and I was–as always–mesmerized by the breadth of collections that feel as though they were created today.

And maybe yes, I may be biased while I write this, but one cannot deny it, even objectively speaking.

For the New York premiere of his latest project “Fly Me to the Moon“, Tatum wore a dark blue custom Atelier Versace pinstripe double-breasted suit, paired with a black men’s shirt and black loafers.

While looking at the past, some of the earliest inspirations for the look can be traced back to the Versace Fall-Winter 1986 collection or the Atelier Versace Fall 1997 collection, while among the most recent runway shows we can count the Versace Spring 2019 Menswear collection.

Channing‘s grooming was courtesy of Jamie Taylor who has worked with the actor several times in the past too and she made sure that his skin looked as supple and hydrated as possible.

The premiere took place on July 8th and the heat was devastating everywhere, an added reason to apply sunscreen and do the bare minimum to look his best without much effort; Tatum‘s short cut and little bronzed skin did the trick too.

The “Bullet Train” actor was styled by Andrew Mukamal, who is already known for his work with Channing‘s fiancée Zoë Kravitz and lately, Margot Robbie.

The stylist understands what it means to be on top of the (fashion) game, so much so that Channing‘s ongoing work relationship with Versace brought him a fragrance ad campaign that–was announced today but–will be unveiled next month.

I am more than happy about this collaboration, Donatella Versace proves to have the finger on the pulse by working with people who have strong values and who are highly respected and admired globally.

I can’t wait to see what he has in store for us when he’ll be starring in Zoë Kravitz‘s directorial debut for “Blink Twice“.
