Today’s outfit has been on my mind for quite some time and I can’t wait to write about it anymore. So here is singer and songwriter Celeste attending last year’s hybrid Golden Globe Awards‘ ceremony.
Celeste stunned in a custom Gucci velvet and multicolor striped sequin gown styled with Gucci yellow gold lion head earrings.
Luscious satin green gloves complimented the look–as for her shoes, we can surely say they were from Gucci, but we don’t know if she chose the platform ones or the sparkly sandals.
Styled by Ella Lucia, the singer and songwriter embodied the 70’s vibe she is known for and in an interview for British Vogue, she ecstatically raved about the dress: “It definitely feels very special, the gown makes me feel like something actually happened. Without the gown, everything just falls into a blur.
I love the ribboned panels of sequins cascading to the floor.”
She also shared more regarding her love for Gucci, even pre-pandemic: “When I first went to Gucci‘s show in February of last year (editor’s note: 2020), I saw how many wonderful people were adorned in their beautiful garments. I saw how willing they were to accommodate every body type and that was what drew me to them as a brand.”
With an ensemble like that, you can’t avoid playing with makeup, indeed MUA Rebecca Davenport combed through the singer’s brows for a natural effect. Lashes were expertly separated and lips were painted with a bold red lipstick, defined with a matching lip liner. A soft orange-y halo opened up the entertainer’s eyes.
