We are starting the week in a quite combative mood, and that reminded us of a look that we kept on our to-do list for some time.
Do you remember what actor Caleb McLaughlin wore to the Los Angeles premiere of “Creed III” this past February? If you don’t, we are here to refresh your memory.
For the occasion, McLaughlin donned a beige and white Dior Men crewneck sweater, with a geometric beige and light brown chest guard fastened to it, paired with brown smart pants; all pieces stemmed from the Dior Pre-Fall 2023 Menswear collection.

The outfit was fittingly combined with black Dior Garden combat boots (just not those with the logo printed on the sides as pictured above) and a silver diamond ring on his right pinky finger.
Keep in mind that the runway show was staged in Cairo and according to Hypebeast: “Celebrates Jones‘ affinity for travel, having grown up in Botswana, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Ghana throughout childhood. Using the Great Pyramids as a mystical backdrop, the designer pushes the ancient structures into the future with a contemporary range that saw models become desert warriors.”
Groomer and makeup artist Jenna Nelson used Dior Beauty products to make sure the “Stranger Things” actor’s skin looked radiant and even–plus, if you didn’t know, Caleb is also a Dior Beauty ambassador, so it doesn’t come exactly as a surprise.
I like when a look tells a story or if it is chosen because it is related to the theme of the movie or series it promotes.
In this case, the film takes place in the boxing world and the look, chosen by stylist Darryl Glover, plays with the actions of shielding ourselves and fighting for our life–an exact parallel to the plot of the flick in question.
There was a reasoning behind it, so kudos to Glover for being very intentional with his vision for the ensemble and for being able to put to fruition a look that would have been probably overlooked for a red carpet.

Creed III is a 2023 American sports drama film co-produced, directed, and starring Michael B. Jordan. It is the sequel to Creed II (2018), the third installment in the Creed film series, and the ninth overall in the Rocky film series.
It was written by Keenan Coogler and Zach Baylin from a story they co-wrote with Ryan Coogler.
