I truly can’t stand this heat because my blood pressure is extremely low and living in Europe, I have no air conditioning, which makes things even harder to bear.
I try to find the energy to write or to accomplish basic tasks and one way to keep me awake is to look at striking colors, something you’ll notice in today’s article.
Because of this reasoning, I instantly remembered an outfit that I was struck by some months ago and it was one worn by Caitríona Balfe for the London premiere of “The Amateur“.
For the event, Balfe donned a bright yellow two-piece custom Louis Vuitton dress with exaggerated shoulders and a long skirt, probably inspired by a design from the Resort 2025 collection.
She complemented the ensemble with a pair of black Louis Vuitton pumps, another pair of Jessica McCormack 0.70ct Diamond and Blackened Gold Gypset Hoop earrings, and a Jessica McCormack Rush Hour Oval Diamond Double Take Ring on her right ring finger (apart from her engagement ring on the other hand).
The Irish actress was made up by Mary Wiles, who kept the makeup minimal, opting for a distinctive plum pout, slightly defined eyebrows and mascara. The skin appeared supple and clear.
Gareth Bromell styled the brunette stunner’s hair in a sleek, side parted, structured low bun, keeping up with the chic vibe of the dress.

Caitríona was styled by Karla Welch who I cannot help but praise for being gutsy enough to present such a dress on the red carpet.
The majority of us–not me personally–is so conditioned to think that elegance equals a black long dress with no frills and looking as conservative as possible, while this specific ensemble is the perfect example that affirms the contrary.
A punching, intricate design that paired with the right attitude becomes the perfect showstopper; the actress/model’s grace while posing did the rest of the job.
