Brie Larson‘s outfit for the Los Angeles premiere of “Captain Marvel” has been on my radar for quite some time. Maybe because it’s almost Summer or maybe just out of pure nostalgia, I thought today would be a good day to write about it.
The event took place on March 04, 2019.
For the occasion, Brie donned a custom Rodarte cream gown with a long train and thin straps, paying homage to the character she plays in the movie. It’s obvious that the stars on her dress not only were a reference to her celestial powers but also a nod to the star she has on her uniform in the movie.
Larson accessorized the look with custom Jimmy Choo sandals mimicking the star motif on the dress, Sydney Evan Starburst Drop earrings, Graziela Gems diamond Starburst stud earrings and two APM Monaco star rings.
Did anyone say stars?
Her makeup was fresh and simple, with just some lengthening mascara on her lashes and a little filling of the eyebrows. Her hair was sleek, styled in a deep side part with flipped out ends.
Ashlie Johnson was in charge of Brie‘s nails, she used Chanel Beauty products to create simple nude nails, here is a product breakdown of how she achieved them:
– Chanel – La Base;
– Chanel – Blanc White nail polish;
– Johnson dusted silver chrome sparkle on top (not Chanel)
– she finished with Chanel – Le Gel Coat.
