Blake Lively wore one of my favorite dresses to the New York premiere of “The Adam Project“, held at Alice Tully Hall on February 28, 2022.
Lively indeed looked like a fairy queen in an Atelier Versace pastel multicolor dress from the Spring Summer 2019 collection, paired with mineral blue Gucci scamosciato Mallory slingback sandals featuring a clear crystal embellished strap over the toes.
As always, Lorraine Schwartz was her jewelry brand of choice; in some shots, she was seen carrying a pink Chanel Knock On Wood flap bag.
Jennifer Yepez styled the actress’ hair in a long half length wavy ponytail while MUA Kristofer Buckle intensified her look with long curved fluttery false lashes and a dark pink hydrating lipstick.
For the nails, nail artist and long time friend Elle Gerstein painted Blake‘s nails in a taupe shade. According to Popsugar, it was “the LeChat Perfect Match Gel Polish in Cocoa Kisses“. Gerstein then added mini moons on the nails “brushing from cuticle to centre, left to right and right to left with LeChat Perfect Match Gel Polish in Peach Charming. After two coats and curing in between, she finished off the look by applying a final clear topcoat for an extra boost of shine.”
To The Zoe Report, the pro also shared which was the inspiration for the manicure and how she achieved Blake‘s pedicure: “The look was inspired by a ’60s bohemian cool girl and paired beautifully with the shades of her dress.” […]
“The artist first used one coat of LeChat Perfect Match Peach Charming, then added a sheer coat of LeChat Perfect Match Marshmallow Gin (a creamy white polish) over top to lighten it up a bit.”
Blake‘s relationship with Versace is one for the books and overall, her humbleness and gratitude to her team makes you appreciate their collaborative effort even more. Also, the “A Simple Favor” actress–who notoriously styles herself–knows what works for her every – single – time.
