I have always admired Beyoncé‘s approach to red carpets and public appearances in general, because she does not burn herself out and carefully picks the occasions in which she wants to be seen. Despite her fame, it is very rare among her peers.

One of the occasions which was dear to her heart was probably The Lion King Premiere held at the Dolby Theatre on July 09, 2019 in Hollywood, California.

Knowles walked the red carpet in a bespoke Alexander McQueen crystal chandelier embroidered tuxedo dress with a dégradé crystal embroidered skirt, crystal jewelry and crystal embroidered pin heel sandals. The look was probably inspired by this model from the Fall 2019 Menswear collection and this one from the Fall 2019 Ready-to-Wear collection.

The look was accessorized with an Alexander McQueen chandelier embroidered four-ring clutch featuring a silver-finished handle, adorned with crystal encrusted rings. An abundance of jewelry adorned her ears and fingers: a mix of McQueen and Lorraine Schwartz.

Nail artist Miho Okawara used Daily Charme Mirror Gold Chrome Powder and Nail Labo Presto Clear Base, No Wipe Top Gel and Presto Top Gel to paint Beyoncé‘s nails.

In The Lion King, Beyoncé does the voiceover for Nala.

She is also featured on the film’s soundtrack, released with a remake of the song “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” alongside Donald GloverBilly Eichner and Seth Rogen, which was originally composed by Elton John.

Additionally, an original song, “Spirit”, was released as the lead single from both the soundtrack and The Lion King: The Gift–an album released alongside the film, produced and curated by Beyoncé.

The songs were additionally produced by African producers, because authenticity and heart were important to her since the film was set in Africa.
