We know we push throwback after throwback, but on the heels of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez‘s donation to the SAG-AFTRA Fund, it was imperative for us to dedicate an article to Ben Affleck.

Take it as a sign of gratitude towards someone who clearly understands the struggles his peers are facing right now.

Since we have already written about his wife not many days ago, we’ll take our time to analyze his outfit for the Los Angeles premiere of the movie “Air“.

For the occasion, Affleck donned a Thom Sweeney navy slim-fit double-breasted cotton-blend corduroy suit jacket, paired with matching trousers with side adjusters.

Underneath the jacket, the actor wore a light blue men’s shirt and a dark blue knitted tie.

To finish off the look, he accessorized it with what seemed to be a brown pair of Christian Louboutin Men’s Cousin Platerissimo brogue leather Oxford shoes and what also seemed to be a Hermés Arceau L’Heure de la Lune watch, framed by a seemingly gold case (not the white gold pictured).

His grooming for the event was courtesy of Diana Schmidtke, who on her Instagram mentioned using products by La Mer and Laura Mercier for his skin prep and makeup, plus Paul Mitchell products to take care of his hair and keep it in place.

Thom Sweeney is a fashion house that was founded by Savile Row-trained tailors Thom Whiddett and Luke Sweeney. They met in 2003 at Timothy Everest, one of the most influential tailors of the day, when Thom was Head Cutter and Luke managed the house’s made-to-measure service.

They are now a leading British luxury brand with an international reputation and clientele.

The “Justice League” actor was styled by Ilaria Urbinati, who is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after menswear stylists today.

When I first started writing about men, I was shocked to see how many of them she had styled, and going back years, how many emerging actors and actresses too (take into consideration a young Anya Taylor-Joy, Margot Robbie or Rami Malek).

With time I got to appreciate her work ethic and taste, and I praise her for always taking a chance on up-and-coming actors.

Barry Keoghan is probably one of the latest examples, she is shaping his style direction in such an interesting way; with Ben she couldn’t go that wrong, since suits are his bread and butter when it comes to red carpets–but something tells me that he appreciates Urbinati‘s several years of indisputable experience.
