I must admit, lately I find it very hard to rejoice or find comfort in what I love, because everything feels as if something was taken from me and I cannot exactly understand what, or it could be that deep down I may know it but I don’t acknowledge it out of fear.
I may seem cold to most but that’s not exactly my nature, it’s just self-defense.
Hence why when I find something beautiful I cannot look away, because it reminds me of the fact that we take several things for granted sometimes, things that we won’t necessarily be able to experience again in the future.
Do you know what I think was beautiful this week? Bella Hadid‘s dress for the New York premiere of the series “The Beauty“.
Hadid donned a Schiaparelli Haute Couture halter neck bias-cut dress in double satin red silk, embellished with a trompe l’oeil bodice accented by molded breasts and a train from the Fall-Winter 2025/2026 collection.
She paired the ensemble with Schiaparelli red satin slingbacks enhanced with a silver metal hand-shaped stiletto heel, a pair of Amaryz 6-carat Martini stud earrings in white gold vermeil with Moissanites, a Chopard heart-shaped ring on her left index finger, a Chopard Lace Vague ring on her left middle finger, plus a cushion ring stacked with a band diamond ring on her right middle finger.

Bella is an incredibly beautiful model, so there’s very little than one can do to “beautify” her face, indeed MUA Nadia Tayeh enhanced what’s already there by using a reddish eyeliner to frame her eyes and a little flick of black eyeliner on the sides of her eyes to elongate them.
A reflective glittery eyeshadow was blended on her lids, for the sultriest effect.
Red blush was strategically placed on the apples of her cheeks to make everything look more cohesive, finishing everything off with nude overlined lips.
Her hair was styled by Jawara in a side-parted knotted low bun, the touch of chicness that was obviously the most fitting choice given the texture and the delicate/soft nature of the model’s dress.
Dawn Sterling created for the American stunner a custom nude manicure, so natural that it wouldn’t take anything away from the Schiaparelli ensemble.
For the event, Hadid was styled once again by Mimi Cuttrell, with whom she has had an incredible relationship since she first started modeling.
Bella works with different stylists depending on the occasion while also taking matters into her own hands from time to time.
I think that right now, being a beauty entrepreneur and working on projects outside modeling can take much of her time, hence why she delegated to a person she trusts and who knows her very well.
Cuttrell is a gem, working in silence but delivering insane results in my opinion.
