You can bet I fell in love with the outfit I am going to be writing about today.
Maybe it’s the love I have for past times, maybe it’s my constant search for ensembles that stand the test of time while being incredibly beautiful, you can decide.
What I know is that Barbara Palvin‘s dress for this year’s BOF 500 Gala was probably one of the best I’ve seen all year (and believe me, in this line of work you do come across way too many).
So let’s talk about it.
The Hungarian model donned an Ashi Studio champagne bustier dress with exaggerated hips from the Fall-Winter 2025-2026 Couture collection, paired with see-through Betsey Johnson Ellis Nude pointy kitten heels cleverly turned into slingbacks for the occasion.
Owen Gould styled her hair in a low knotted hairdo, adorned and secured with a Jennifer Behr Presley Bow Barrette made out of hand strung crystal pearls and finished with a steel French barrette closure.
Barbara was made up by Tobi Henney who emphasized the model’s features using a hint of rose-y blush on the apples of the cheeks, a nude lip and a light bronze/pinkish eyeshadow.
As always, the model kept everything simple and understated, indeed even her manicure was short and natural.
Palvin was once again styled by her friend and collaborator Marc Eram, many models’ go-to stylist.
