I would like to close this week by writing about the gorgeous Hungarian model Barbara Palvin attending last year’s Cannes Film Festival.

Spring is almost here and I wanted to channel the breezy air that is filling our lungs right now and what better way than to talk about a billowing dress, floating in the wind?

For the occasion, Palvin donned a Givenchy halter neck floor length dress with silver accents from the Pre-Fall 2024 collection, paired with black Alexandre Birman Pamela 100 pointy pumps.

She was made up by Tobi Henney who truly just had to emphasize Barbara‘s natural beauty: a clean soft base, Dark Swan of Denmark Secret 03 Feather lashes on the outer corners of her eyes to elongate them, a shimmery eyeshadow applied on the inner corners of the eyes and a rose-y pout to go with the romantic vibe of the dress.

The stunner’s hair was styled by Owen Gould in a slightly parted wavy do, which honestly was the cherry on top of this look. The model looked like a goddess, a diva, an ethereal, timeless beauty.

Palvin was styled by Marc Eram, your go-to professional if your style is effortlessly cool and polished. No wonder all the models flock to him, because he knows how to make a woman look her best without feeling trapped in gowns that many times can feel more like a burden rather than a pleasure.

━━━━━━━━━━━━

Marcello Mio is a 2024 comedy film written and directed by Christophe Honoré.

In the film, actress Chiara Mastroianni confronts living in the shadow of her real-life father Marcello Mastroianni‘s legacy.

She portrays a version of herself alongside her real-life mother, French actress Catherine Deneuve.

Several other actors support the cast and play versions of themselves as well.

The film had its world premiere in the main competition at the 77th Cannes Film Festival on 21 May 2024, being theatrically released in France on the same day by Ad Vitam Distribution.
