Diane von Fürstenberg chose model Barbara Palvin as her plus one to accompany her to the CFDA 2019.

For the last time serving as a chairman for the event, von Fürstenberg passed on the torch (metaphorically and literally) to her successor Tom Ford.

Palvin was honored to represent the great Belgian fashion designer; let’s see how she managed to help Diane close an era.

Barbara wore a floor length Diane von Furstenberg netted crystals Cinderella wrap dress–according to Crystals by PRECIOSA, the company that was in charge of the crystals: “Custom designed to match the delicate brushstroke patterned slip dress worn underneath, the crystal netted wrap consisted of more than 35,000 crystals.”

For the occasion, DVF picked the earrings herself before going to the event and the look was finished off with black Christian Louboutin Nosy 100 patent leather and PVC T-bar pumps.

Hairstylist Owen Gould styled Barbara‘s hair with a Hidden Crown Hair custom cut Crown Topper.
