Today is a warmer Winter day and to celebrate it, we’d like to bring back the breezy feeling of a Summer dress with the help of stunner Barbara Palvin. Case in question? Last year’s Venice Film Festival.

For the “Bones and All” red carpet, Palvin stunned in an Armani Privé long see-through dress with orange lacy accents throughout, from the Spring 2017 Couture collection, paired with a gold metallic Giorgio Armani Calliope flap clutch handbag with black and gold clasp (same model as pictured below, different color).

To complete the look she also wore a pair of silver encrusted open-toe sandals. Also, it is worth noting that many attendees of the festival wore archival pieces on the red carpet–Armani sure has a huge catalogue one can pick from.

Barbara‘s makeup was natural, full of glittery, warm and peachy tones which matched her dress. With just a hint of black mascara to give more definition to her look, she literally looked like a Goddess on earth. Of course all products used by MUA Charlotte Prevel were courtesy of Armani Beauty.

Her hair was styled by Owen Gould in a long, wavy hairdo with a center part–he also added some inches to it by using Luxy Hair extensions. To enhance the overall ethereal feel of the dress, Gould put gold sets of Lelet NY Pearl Poppy Claw clips, Philippa Pearl Flower clips, Philippa Pearl and Crystal Flower clips and Daphne Crystal Floral clips in a crown shape on the model’s hair.

The Hungarian model’s stylist Marc Eram is an interesting professional in the fashion system. I admire his work with Andie MacDowell, who always looks fascinating and surprising on the red carpet, proving that age is now just a matter of numbers, because if you have the right attitude toward life, you can make any dress look incredible. I’m also a fan of his avant-garde work on model and DJ Soo Joo Park.

In this instance I felt it was appropriate for him to opt for a Summer dress that brought with it the last laughs of the season, especially after a “stricter” dress she wore for the festival some days prior.

Bones and All is a 2022 coming-of-age romantic cannibal road film directed by Luca Guadagnino from a screenplay by David Kajganich, based on the 2015 novel of the same name by Camille DeAngelis.
