Anya Taylor-Joy, one of the brightest stars on the rise, attended the premiere of “Last Night In Soho” during the 78th Venice Film Festival on September 04, 2021 in Venice, Italy.
In true 60’s fashion, Taylor-Joy donned a Dior Haute Couture pink satin dramatically draped gown with matching embroidered beret by Stephen Jones Millinery, paired with matching Dior satin pumps.
The blonde beauty accessorized the look with–of course–Tiffany & Co. jewelry: 2 rings, a pair of stud earrings and the Monarque necklace by Jean Schlumberger. According to the online publication Prestige: “A standout piece, featuring a striking butterfly alight among beautiful boughs of pavé diamond leaves, set in platinum. The butterfly’s flickering wings come in the form of delicately set fancy colored pear-shaped pink sapphires in 18K yellow gold, transporting viewers to a magical garden.”
A masterful attention to detail, since the little butterfly matched the color of the dress perfectly.
For all the details about her hair color check this Instagram post by her colorist Tracey Cunningham.
Anya‘s nails were kindly applied by Italian manicurist Ilenia Lupo for manicurist Kim Truong who prepared them in advance for the premiere, if you look carefully you can spot the writing ‘Last Night In Soho‘ on the actress’ right middle and ring fingers.
For makeup, her makeup artist Georgie Eisdell shared a picture of her kit on her Instagram stories, you can see it and take notes below.
The overall vibe of the outfit and makeup/hair was a nod to the times in which the movie takes place and personally I have always thought of Anya as a diva from the old times. She has a timeless beauty and an enchanting aura which made me fall for her even when she wasn’t famous. I’m glad directors are eager to cast her in their movies because she is incredibly talented and the world needs to know.
