This Thursday I wanted to write about Anya Taylor-Joy attending the Los Angeles premiere of one of my favorite movies: “Last Night in Soho“.

After her success in the series “The Queen’s Gambit“, Anya cemented both her status as an incredibly talented actress and fashion icon. So let’s dive into it.

For the event, Anya stunned in a gold Dior long dress with plunging neckline, bare back and thin straps from the Fall 2021 Couture collection paired with matching gold Jimmy Choo Minny 85 metallic-leather sandals.

The actress complemented her look with an incredible array of Tiffany & Co. jewels: a Sea necklace from the Colors of Nature High Jewellery Collection, crafted in platinum with more than 77 carats of emerald-cut green tourmalines, custom-cut sapphires of 29 carats and trapezoid diamonds, what looked like a Soleste ring on her left middle finger and what seemed to be an Emerald Diamond yellow gold Trilogy ring on her right middle finger (as sometimes happens, this is a tentative identification because her hands are barely visible in any shot).

In the hall of her hotel, she was also seen carrying–what looked like–a small Dior Caro strass shoulder bag (also in this case, this is a tentative identification because the only way we could identify it was through a low quality video).

This time around, I loved the brown glittery take on the smokey eye, but I couldn’t expect nothing less from the lovely hands of Georgie Eisdell. The “Amsterdam” actress’ eyes are big and Eisdell always has the capacity to enhance them without making them look heavy or “too much”. I’m always mesmerized by the accuracy she displays while coating her lashes with mascara, it’s quite relaxing I might add.

Of course all products used were courtesy of Dior Beauty, the pro wrote a detailed breakdown on her Instagram and we’ll report it here:

Hairstylist Gregory Russell styled her hair in a luscious, long, wavy do with middle part, very much in line with the time period in which the movie takes place. Her dos always look classy, she looks like a diva from the past and that’s something that has always drawn me to her.

Manicurist Kim Trung painted her oval shaped nails with a simple light pink nail polish, a wise choice since the dress was the center of attention.

I loved this creative time Anya had with Paul Burgo, it was at the time when she stopped working with Law Roach as a stylist. I think her vision and her input were remarkable at the time, because such a transformative actress surely knows a thing or two about inspiration, and working with a fashion designer and friend like Burgo who could translate everything into clothes was the icing on the cake.

She now works with Ryan Hastings and I think he is the perfect fit for her but I also think that she has such an attitude and a mind that whoever will style her in the future, she’ll always be able to create memorable red carpet moments for years to come. She’s a powerful woman.
