Anya Taylor-Joy was the ultimate glam girl for this year’s CFDA Fashion Awards. The celebration took place at The Grill & The Pool Restaurants on November 10, 2021 in New York City.
The “Last Night in Soho” actress donned a custom violette moiré peplum jacket over a bustier cocktail dress, paired with custom Stuart Weitzman Anny 120 pumps and a custom leopard print Gigi Burris Millinery hat.
Taylor-Joy paired the look with black Wolford Individual 10 Back Seam tights, Tiffany & Co. Victoria diamond pendant earrings and a statement necklace.
Apparently, the inspiration for the outfit came from the movie 101 Dalmatians, as reported by People.com: “So, the inspiration for this was actually the opening sequence of 101 Dalmatians. I love the idea of very classy ladies walking their dogs. I just tried to think about the quintessential New York woman, and somehow, we ended up here.”
As always makeup artist Georgie Eisdell delighted everyone with a detailed makeup breakdown that we’ll report here just for you (everything was courtesy of Dior Beauty):
