Red carpets are mostly fun, but if you want to go the extra mile, you know that Moschino has got you covered. He proved it once again for this year’s amfAR Gala held at the Pacific Design Center on November 04, 2021. Anitta was the star of the night and we’re here to show you why.
For the Gala, the Brazilian beauty wore a Moschino multicolored quilted animal and floral print strapless gown with slit and scalloped hem from the Spring 2022 Ready-to-Wear collection.
The ensemble was paired with a heart shaped clutch, yellow encrusted star earrings and bronze glittery platform sandals with chunky heels. Every piece stemmed from the same collection.
Anitta was accompanied by Jeremy Scott, Moschino‘s creative director. That night, the designer was honored by Madonna with the Award of Courage for his ongoing commitment to the non-profit and the fight against HIV/AIDS.
Many attendees showed up in Moschino looks, take Lana Condor, Ashley Benson, Bebe Rexha and Gigi Goode among others.
From small cocktail parties and store openings to art auctions and international galas, amfAR‘s benefit events raise both vital funds and AIDS awareness.
amfAR‘s largest source of revenue comes from its fundraising events, large portions of that money come from one of its annual charity events held at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France. The gala aims to raise money through auctioning items, as well as selling a limited number of tickets. amfAR galas have been held in cities like New York City, Milan, Los Angeles, São Paulo and Hong Kong.
During the night, over $1.7 millions were raised for the cause.
