“Knives Out” was probably one of the best movies pre-pandemic and luckily for us it is coming back with a sequel in the–almost–near future. Its American premiere took place at the Regency Village Theatre on November 14, 2019 in Westwood, California and we are here to report on it.
For the event, actress Ana de Armas stunned in a Chanel Haute Couture feather-embroidered organza dress from the Spring-Summer 2019/20 collection paired with black Jimmy Choo satin pointy shoes and diamond studs.
The hair complemented the breezy and flowery vibe of her dress, in stark contrast with the movie that is instead filled with tension and unexpected turn of events.
Her makeup was based on nude tones thanks to makeup artist Mélanie Inglessis who is a master at making makeup not feel like makeup–and with eyes like those we wouldn’t dare either, I think Ana has one of the best sets of eyes in the whole showbiz.

Knives Out is a 2019 American mystery film written and directed by Rian Johnson and produced by Johnson and Ram Bergman.
It follows a master detective investigating the death of the patriarch of a wealthy, dysfunctional family.
In the movie, Ana de Armas plays the role of Marta Cabrera, the nurse of Harlan Thrombey (an aged, best-selling crime novelist and patriarch of the family, played by Christopher Plummer).
