Alessandra Ambrosio at “Jeanne du Barry” Red Carpet – Cannes Film Festival 2023

We are on a Cannes Film Festival spree and today we’ll revisit the gown model Alessandra Ambrosio wore to the event last year, since it wasn’t straight off the runway but rather from several years back, a thing I do appreciate very much.

On the red carpet, Ambrosio stunned in an archival dark pink Elie Saab hooded ensemble from the Fall 2005 Couture collection, paired with nude Casadei heeled open-toe ankle sandals with rhinestones.

She complemented her precious floor-sweeping dress with a Pomellato Skyline necklace, a pair of Pomellato Skyline earrings and a Pomellato mixed gold and diamond Nudo solitaire ring on her left index finger.

The glam matched the dress, indeed celebrity MUA Carolina Gonzalez applied a fuchsia glittery eyeshadow all over the lids, blending it also on the lower lash line.

To add dimension, the pro applied a lighter iridescent shade on the inner corners of the model’s eyes and on the center of the lids to give them a reflective effect.

The eyebrows were slightly filled-in and after applying a rose-y lipstick, Gonzalez topped it off with a gloss.

The hair was styled in a knotted updo by Giannandrea and carefully tucked into the hood, while her manicure was courtesy of Queenie Nguyen.

Nguyen painted Alessandra‘s nails with a light pink polish and created a sort of invisible French manicure, covering the smile line with a glittery varnish (the smile line is the point on a nail where the nail bed ends and the free edge starts).

Ambrosio was styled by Amarsana Gendunova, who this time went for opulence but elegantly respecting the environment by choosing an archival gown.

I liked the hood, the streamlined gown and the color that is rarely seen on the red carpet. Impeccable choice all around.
