These days, the heat is killing me and that’s why I’ve been a bit absent from here, and also because I honestly needed some time to rest.
On this cloudy Tuesday I wanted to concentrate on a past event though, specifically last year’s Venice Film Festival, which is slowly approaching.
A dress that caught my attention? The one worn by Adria Arjona.
For the event, Arjona donned an archival Armani Privé white long gown with a plunging neckline from the Fall 2008 Couture collection, paired with black Christian Louboutin Condora Riviera ankle strap pumps.
She accessorized her ensemble with a Tiffany & Co. necklace (straight from the archives) in platinum with diamonds (1955-1965), a Tiffany Victoria Alternating ring on her right pinky, stacked with a Tiffany Victoria diamond Vine band ring in platinum, plus a pair of diamond earrings.
When it comes to makeup, Adria often opts for natural looks and this case was no different, indeed Armani Beauty global makeup artist Hiromi Ueda kept everything natural, focusing her attention on the skin and barely on the eyes and lips.
Ueda made up the actress’ face applying a soft coat of black mascara on her lashes, golden and brownish liquid eyeshadows on the lids and a creamy rose-y lipstick.
If you would like to replicate the look at home, here are all the Armani Beauty products used by the pro, courtesy of her and the brand (slightly edited for clarity):

Adria‘s hair was styled in a high chignon by Jennifer Yepez, the chicest touch that complemented a dress that was already a statement in itself.
She also sported a short light pink manicure, but we don’t know if she required the services of a nail artist.
What we do know is that the “Andor” actress was styled by Sandra Amador, who knows how to combine heritage brands, making them look modern and up-to-date.
When Arjona wears an archival or vintage dress it never ages her, it only adds to her beauty–a further testament to Amador‘s timeless fashion choices (and I would expect nothing less from someone who has been flawlessly dressing Lady Gaga for years).
