Actor/DJ Idris Elba walked the MET Gala 2019 red carpet–for the first time as a married couple–with model wife Sabrina Dhowre Elba.

He wore a custom Barocco printed Atelier Versace suit featuring a Swarovski crystal embroidery with a metallic effect.
In an interview for Fashionista.com, stylist Cheryl Konteh explained her collaboration with Elba for the event: “We wanted to do a print and nobody does a print louder than Versace. We absolutely adore Donatella.”
“He had so much fun. He absolutely loved it. Loved it. We were both excited because Idris wouldn’t necessarily wear this on an every day basis, but it allows us to just do the theme.”
